Looking at a used car in Umm Suqeim, what should I check myself before paying for an inspection?
I'm going to see a 2016 Nissan Patrol in Umm Suqeim this weekend and I'm trying to work out what I can reasonably check myself before deciding whether it's worth booking a proper inspection. I'm not completely useless with cars but I'm no mechanic either. A colleague mentioned spotting used car issues in Umm Suqeim with a Reliable guide (https://prepurchasecarinspection.ae/blog/warning-signs-used-car-inspection-dubai/) and said it helped him avoid a bad buy, though he couldn't remember where he found it. I'm mainly worried about missing something obvious like accident repair or a dodgy odometer, because the seller seems nice and I know I'm the type to get carried away. What do you guys always look at when you view a car in person? And at what point do you decide it's worth paying for a full inspection versus just walking away based on what you've seen?
